Dear Team Babilonia,

Sorry to write in English but I graduated at level A2.2 🙂

I writing to thank the entire team for another great experience. I enjoyed every aspect of my week.

Thank you to the staff in the restaurant for always making us feel welcome and providing outstanding service. You are a huge asset to the school. A big kiss to our favorite barista as her smile and energy are a great start to each day.

Thank you to the office staff for providing excellent customer service. My apartment was a dream and every day that I sat in my temporary kitchen and looked out the window I was grateful for the amazing view. Taormina has captured my heart. (Photo below from apartment)

I am also grateful to the community of Taormina. In each shop when I said “Devo parlare Italiano perche io sono qui per la lingua” they patiently worked with me and made me feel like Taormina was my home.

I think over the last two years I’ve worked with every teacher on staff and loved them all. This year my class instructor was Pepe and he was also great. I want to apologize for the use of my Roman slang but on this particular day it was my goal to make Pepe laugh 🙂 at least twice. Accomplishing this goal made my day and hopefully Pepe had a a very good laugh or two. Thank you Pepe.

A big hug to Michela. She is a wonderful teacher and by the end the week I was sad to leave. Thank you for our conversations and I sincerely hope we meet again in the near future.

I have attended a few other schools over the years and none are at the level of Babilonia. Last year I made lifelong friends who joined me for a long weekend in Cefalu this year. Not only is the school a place to learn but also to establish and forge new bonds across the globe. (Photo below with Lea and Milena former students)

You are truly the best and I wish you continue success. I hope to see you again next year.

Grazie mille per la settimana migliore. Spero che posso ritornare per due settimane in 2024. Tanti baci a tutti 🙂

Babylon er et nydelig sted i en hage med blomster og appelsintrær. Lærerne er både kreative, hyggelige og fremfor alt veldig dyktige, og får en til å bruke italiensk aktivt.

I’m usually a very critical person, but I can not think of one thing that could have improved my experience. If you want to jump-start your Italian language skills to the next level, attend Babilonia!

BABILONIA is truly a dream. From the staff and management who are absolute angels to the wonderful, simply amazing teachers, all in a fabulous place like Taormina … what more could you ask for? I had the great fortune to spend two weeks there for teacher training course (through AATI) and it was the best professional development I have ever had in my career as a teacher. ❤ If you have a chance to come here, do it – everything about this place is NUMERO UNO!
