Taormina, July 7-21, 2019

Re-Thinking Design Italian Style
Italian, one of the most studied language internationally, holds a dominant place on the global stage. Additionally, Italy maintains a pivotal role in the global economy boasting the 3rd largest national economy in the Eurozone. The workshop curriculum combines both linguistic and economic aspects and is modeled after the conceptualization of MADE IN ITALY, defined in part by the four “A”s: Abbigliamento (fashion), Agroalimentare (food/wine), Arredamento (design), and Automotive (automobiles), plus a newly added fifth, Artigianale (artisan). Site visits will explore firsthand each focus. Possibilities include:

€ 1,500
(includes course and materials, Catania airport transfer, site visits costs, some meals and aperitivos)

Optional accommodation available in Hotel President Splendid € 1,050 single-room – € 560 per person in double room

Airfare not included
