And this thanks to its truly varied territory: countryside, mountains, plains and beach soils. On top of that, the Mediterranean Sea gives us the best fish to bring on our tables with dozens of different recipes. Sicily is a region of excellence for typical and quality products, counting as many as 69 PDO and IGP branded agri-food products, including

And the wines. Sicily is the region with the largest area under vines in the country: with about 17% of the national one. Its wines are internationally recognized among the best Italian wines. This is thanks to the many vines that are grown on the island and to the soil, so different from one side of the island to the other. Among the most renowned vines for the production of red wine:

Our Food and Wines of Sicily program is divided into 3 afternoons where we will present:

  • red wines paired with meats and preserves
  • white wines paired with Sicilian cheeses
  • dessert wines paired with Sicilian pastries and pastries

The FOOD & WINE OF SICILY PROGRAM: Sicily has an extraordinary production of excellent wines, oils, cheeses, preserves, pastries, jams, etc. Come and learn more about the history and the traditions of the different products with a personal tasting experience.
